I just got back from seeing Revenge of the Sith. It's better than the previous two films, but anyone who thinks it's in the same class as any of the original trilogy should seek help from a mental health professional.

Just call me a rolling Stone

So I kept going, and while it's now after midnight, I still count any work before going to sleep as part of the previous day. Total word count for the day: 4026. Total word count on the novel: 149,686. Total words left to go: 0. In other words, I'm done. Finished. Finito. Next comes the revising.

When you’re on a roll…

...keep rolling. Chapter 65 is done (although I'm not entirely satisfied with it.) Only the epilogue remains. And despite the fact that I had to work today (and I don't work on my novel during work hours), this has been my most productive day ever on the novel, in terms of word count: 3221.

I just watched the last episode of Star Trek: Enterprise (which I didn't watch on Friday because I got together with some friends for our traditional Friday the 13th Buffy the Vampire Slayer party.) Chapter 62 is done

I'm up over 95% now. Today (or since it's now a few minutes after midnight, yesterday) was my single most productive day on the novel since I began tracking my word production back in August: 3109 words.

Buffy Party

Last Friday the 13th, my friend Doran and I had a Buffy the Vampire Slayer party. Maybe we'll do it again on this Friday the 13th.
