My brother Michael and his wife, Jeannie, have a new addition to their family. They've named him Ender. They've posted pictures of Ender on their blog.

120K & 38

Today I passed a couple of milestones: I've now written 120,000 words in my novel. I've now lived 38 years.

Chapter 50 is done

I've finished chapter fifty of my novel. I was originally planning for about 50 chapters, but it grew a bit. So I'm not done yet.

The Final Element

Well, over the past two days I've written my first new complete short story since September. It's a science fiction mystery story involving a forged Stradivarius violin. I'm not too pleased with the character names at the moment, so I'll probably search & replace later.

Talk & Book Signing at Barnes & Noble in Murray

I will be speaking about the Writers of the Future Contest and my story. I'll also be signing WOTF XX. The event lasts from 1:00-4:00pm. The speaking part will begin at 2:00pm. The store is located at 5249 S. State St.
