Attack of the Killer Patriot Act from 20,000 Fathoms

Unfortunately, what I've written for this post appears to be too long for Movable Type to process properly, so I've uploaded it to a page here. (Note: This entry was originally published on my now-defunct political blog, Attilathepundit.com.)

Stoning

A couple of days ago, the Nigerian women who was sentenced to be stoned to death was reprieved. Apparently, this got some people interested in how to stone someone to death, because my server logs show that two different people clicked through to my blog looking for information on how to stone somebody. As it turns out, I'm at the... read more »

Breakthrough

I had some inspiration this morning that I think will get me going again on Chapter 12 of my novel. But I've got a major headache tonight, so I'm not up to actually writing it. But at least I feel excited about writing it again.

Crown of Slaves

For several years now, my favorite series of books has been the Honor Harrington series by David Weber. Crown of Slaves is a book set in the "Honorverse," co-authored by Weber and Eric Flint. While Honor herself makes only a cameo appearance, it involves several characters introduced in the series (and in some of the Honorverse short stories previously written... read more »

Disappointment

Well, I won't bother posting the prediction I made regarding the BYU game, because it was wrong and they lost. The defense did pretty well considering that Stanford had wonderful field position most of the time. Our offense never really got on track. Ah, well. At least it wasn't a conference game. This entry was written in part while under... read more »
