I just finished chapter 22. However, I have noticed a slight problem. In looking at my outline, I have 40 chapters left. The natural length of my chapters seems to be about 2000 words. (The prologue is much longer, and there are occasional long chapters, but half the chapters so far are 2000 words, plus or minus 250.) Now, I know that some of the later chapters near the climax will be much shorter, but I don’t think that will have much effect.
