Tonight’s episode of Angel, reminded me of why it’s one of the shows I’m buying on DVD as it comes out. (And why I’m very sorry this is its last season.)



Tonight’s episode had a very funny thread running through it, about whether cavemen or astronauts would win in a fight.



It was also heartwrenching as it played against expectations. ***SPOILER***One of the characters is in mortal danger, and you know that the others will do anything to save her. But in the end, they don’t.***SPOILER***



Buffy the Vampire Slayer did that sort of thing very well, too. I miss it.
