A secret of my success

InterGalactic Medicine Show editor Edmund Schubert reveals one of the reasons why he’s bought so many stories from me in this interview with Alethea Kontis.  Go read it if you haven’t already — I think you’ll find it interesting.

(The interview was actually published a couple of months ago, but I forgot to link to it at the time.)

That interview was hilarious! Thanks for the link.

Did I miss something in the interview, or were you referring to Schubert’s rather unusual selection process involving non-humans and relatives?

Maybe you missed it because it was in parentheses:

    > But then I got this box in the mail. All it
    > contained was a freshly roasted penguin and the
    > business card of one of the authors from issue
    > four. Once word got around that he was going to
    > have two stories in the anthology (you’re welcome,
    > Mr. Eric James Stone), suddenly the penguins
    > started coming out of the woodwork.

That guy is funny! Though, the thought of fire-roasted penguin just seems wrong to me.
