What American accent do you have?
Having seen various friends on LiveJournal posting their results, I decided to give it a try. Considering that I moved around a lot growing up, I guess it pegged me correctly.

Neutral You’re not Northern, Southern, or Western, you’re just plain -American-. Your national identity is more important than your local identity, because you don’t really have a local identity. You might be from the region in that map, which is defined by this kind of accent, but you could easily not be. Or maybe you just moved around a lot growing up. |

Hi Eric, does it rate everyone who takes the test neutral plain American? Other wise I got the same as you, I\’m a new member of the blog ward. I grew up in southern Colorado settled by southern saints sent there by Brigham Young and Hispanics. I don\’t think I have an accent but I served in the Sacramento California mission and people made fun of me there, they especially seemed hung up on the way I say the word wash. I think pretty much everyone speaks the way they hear on TV except for the weird people on the edges of the country.
I used to Subscribe to Analog, Asimov\’s Fantasy and Science Fiction but it got to the point I never found time to read them and they were getting way too expensive to continue to subscribe too. I just finished reading the last Dune sequel Sandworms of Dune, a bit disappointing.
My blog is at:Scott\’s World Blog
I’m originally from Ohio and I came up Western US. Go figure.
