After-signing Report:

They only had two copies of WOTF XXI, even though there computer said they had more.

Unfortunately, it looked like that would be more than enough. The signing went really slowly, with only one person buying a book before I started packing up to leave. Then a friend of the one person who had bought a book decided he wanted one, too. Then, after I’d fininished packing up, another friend decided he wanted one, too.

Yes, that’s three books sold when Barnes & Noble only had two in stock. Good thing I carry extras in my trunk.

After-signing report:

Book signings are very hit-and-miss. For example, the last signing I did at the Bookshelf was one of my best signings ever. This one didn’t go so well, with only one person buying a book.

Yesterday, during the concluding session of the April General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Elder David R. Stone gave an excellent talk (audio|dialup video|broadband video). Elder Stone just happens to be my father. I want to congratulate him on a job well done.
