Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
I bought the book a little after midnight last night, and I finished it a few minutes ago. (I was not reading continuously in between.) I think it’s very good, and even if I managed to guess some of its twists, others eluded me.
I read the New York Times review of the book and they compared it positively to other classic children’s and fantasy books. Even the Lord of the Rings was mentioned, which surprised me. My wife is currently on page 4 … but I anticipate that I’ll be reading some of it soon.
I’ve had a hard time getting through all the books or being crazy about them … but the reviews I’ve seen so far have peaked my interest in this edition.
