Chapter 36 is done
And I’ve passed over the 90,000-word mark.
I’ve updated my progress bar at the top of the page to include the extra 20,000 words I think I’m going to need, and my new target date of finishing just before Thanksgiving.

By the way, is this going to be a stand-alone? Open to a sequel? A trilogy, maybe? (Those are always popular in this genre). Perhaps a never-ending-ilogy, a la Robert Jordan?

It’s intended as the first book in a non-traditional trilogy. I have the key points of the other two books already worked out.
The second book takes place 500 years before and the third book takes place 500 years after this one.
