The Amazing Race is over…

and the team I wanted to win won, so I’m pretty pleased about that.

I was rooting for Chip and Kim the whole time. From the beginning. This is the first time my favorite team has won.
I always root for the couples that treat each other really well. Chip and Kim were great, second only to the New York City couple from 2 seasons ago.
That was an exciting episode. I really thought Collin and Christy would win, because they always perform so well, but they made two critical mistakes….if they hadn’t made one of them, they would have been ok. If they’d remembered that flights get delayed, or if they hadn’t checked their bags (they would have managed to talk someone into letting them on the plane to Dallas).
Well, I hope for Chip and Kim’s sake that they don’t spend or give all the money away. In 5 years they might end up where they started.

Reminds me of one of my favorite Buffy quotes:

Sunday: I must say, you’ve really got me now. I mean, it’s a diabolical plan, throw yourself at my feet with a broken arm and no weapons of any kind. How’m I going to get out of this one?

Buffy: You got a nice set-up here, but you made one mistake.

    Sunday: Yeah? What was that?

Buffy: Well, I’m not actually positive, but statistically speaking people usually make at least…
