SLC to Washington, DC, cheap

Since I know I have blog readers who might want to travel between Salt Lake City and Washington, DC, I thought I’d mention that Travelocity is offering probably the lowest fare I’ve seen for the trip: $142.50 including taxes and fees. Don’t know how long the sale will last. (UPDATE: It’s over.)

Now, if I just had a reason to go visit DC…

Reason? One word: Smithsonian. That and the great fries I had once at Union Station.

Well, I used to live there, so I’ve been to all the museums I was interested in. And while I wouldn’t mind going back, I can’t see making a special trip out there for that.

As for fries, my doctor has told me not to eat them until my blood sugar and cholestorol levels come down. :-(

You sir, are a great American!

I have spent most of life ping-ponging between Salt Lake and DC and I have been looking for a good way to get my family out to SLC this summer to see the relatives. Thank you!

And if you do want to come out to DC you have a place to stay.

Hmmm…I can’t see NOT making a special trip back for that price!
