Early in the season, I was talking with my cousin Scott about the Dallas Cowboys, and we agreed that they had a good shot at a winning season, but it was unlikely they could make the playoffs.
Now, they’re 7-2, leading their division, tied for best record in the NFC and second-best in the NFL, and with the best-ranked defense. Of course, they are facing some tough teams over the next few weeks and could collapse for the rest of the season. Still, so far they’re greatly exceeding my expectations.
I lost my fantasy football game. I’ll still be #1 in the league, though, because I’ve scored more total points.
And — I cannot stress this enough — BYU’s football team DID NOT LOSE THIS WEEK.
