I got up early this morning to try to buy tickets to the Lord of the Rings trilogy showing on December 16. Got to the theater at 7am, two hours before the box office was to open. And I would have been there in plenty of time, were it not for the fact that (from what I was told) Jordan Commons had been forced by New Line Cinema to show it in only one theater, instead of the three they had planned. So, instead of 1500 tickets for sale, they only had 570.
In order to get tickets, I would have had to camp out in a tent overnight, which is what a bunch of people did.
Oh, well. Maybe I can buy a ticket on Ebay later.
