Last night’s football game was a good one. (OK, maybe I think that because I’m a Cowboys fan and the Cowboys won.)

Still, the finish was pretty interesting. Dallas had a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter, and then the Giants not only tie the game, but go on to kick a field goal with 11 seconds left to take the lead.

On the ensuing kickoff, NY tries a squib kick, thinking to make a return difficult and run time off the clock. But the kick rolls out of bounds at the 1-yard line. Penalty: Dallas gets the ball on the 40-yard line instead of the 20.

Dallas has basically one chance to try to get into field goal range. And Quincy Carter completes a 26-yard pass to Antonio Bryant. The kicker, Billy Cundiff, comes out and kicks a 52-yard field goal with no time left on the clock to tie the game and send it to overtime.

Then, in overtime, he kicks a single-game-record-tying seventh field goal. Dallas wins!
