Going into Monday Night Football, my fantasy football team, the Klingon Warriors, was ahead by 13.33 points.
However, I had no players left, and my opponent, the Wallabies (run by my cousin Greg), had Donovan McNabb, who is certainly capable of scoring more than 13.33 points. Two touchdowns, or even one touchdown plus some good yardage, would be enough to defeat me.
But McNabb didn’t score any TD’s, so I won.
Not only that, but my score of 83.38 was the highest in the league. Which means that the Klingon Warriors are the #1 team in the rankings.
I do feel a bit sorry for Greg: the Wallabies had the third-highest score of the week (in a ten-team league), but still came away with a loss.
Not very sorry, though.
