Welcome to Spundit.com.

Just what the world needs: another conservative blogger posting his random thoughts about every issue under the sun. Why the name Spundit? Well, of course it’s a play off of “spin” and “pundit,” but also because the domain name was available. I’ve tried to think of a catchy slogan, like “Don’t believe the spin until you’ve spundit!” but I decided to just settle for the spinning “u” in the logo for now.

Final StupidMedia post

Reuters: Scientists Question Decision on Waste Site
Of course, if you read the article, you find that it is about two scientists who are questioning the decision. But apparently Reuters was unable to find even one scientist who was not questioning the decision–only politicians are cited in favor of the decision. Now, the Department of Energy has spent over $7 billion (yes, billion) studying Yucca Mountain before approving it as a nuclear waste disposal site. More than two scientists were involved in that process. Yet none of them are cited by Reuters. Well, if I can just find one other American to support me on this, then maybe I could use the headline “Americans Think Reuters Reporters Are Stupid.”

More StupidMedia

This story refers to U.S. Secretary-General Kofi Annan. All it would take is a few amendments to the Constitution… See the story here.

Welcome to StupidMedia

Our aim here at StupidMedia is to document some of the blunders, misconceptions, and ridiculously biased statements of the media. As we start this site, it is very much a work in progress, and so we may make some blunders of our own. But our stupidity does not excuse the stupidity of others. We hope you like the site.
