Eric James StoneWelcome to the home page of Eric James Stone, award-winning science fiction and fantasy author.

Umm. OK, so it’s not like I make a living as an author: I used to have a day job as a web developer for an internet company, and now I’m working on becoming an insurance agent. And it’s not like I’ve won (or even been nominated for) a Hugo or Nebula award. But I have taken second place in the Writers of the Future Contest, and I’ve been a winner in the Phobos Fiction Contest, so at least I can legitimately claim “award-winning.”

Since you’re here, you might as well see what I’ve got to offer.

For example, you could check out my blog and see what I’m up to these days. Or take a look at my photoblog, which has a bunch of pictures of me with various actors from science fiction TV shows.

Although there’s not much there yet, you could see my bibliography.

I’ve also got some stuff about writing fiction.

For the “web geek” in you, I have some bookmarklets that I programmed in JavaScript. If you use Movable Type for blogging, you could try some of the plugins I’ve written.

If, for some strange reason, you want to calculate the surface gravity of an astronomical body based on radius and average density, go to the Gravitator I made.

And if you want to contact me, go ahead.

Thanks for stopping by.
